White Tuque is honoured to announce that our founder, Robert D. Stewart, has been selected to represent both our company and the Canadian cybersecurity community on an official trade mission to Washington, D.C., organized by the Government of Canada and supported by the Canadian Embassy to the United States. This exclusive mission brings together a select group of Canadian cybersecurity and threat intelligence firms recognized for their innovation and leadership. It reflects the trust placed in White Tuque as a growing cybersecurity firm and underscores Canada’s important role in the global dialogue on digital security.
This mission comes at a pivotal time in the Canada–U.S. relationship, where cooperation on cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, threat intelligence, and national security is more vital than ever. Throughout the week, Rob will take part in briefings and roundtables hosted by the Embassy of Canada, engage directly with senior U.S. officials from across government and defense, and will join strategic sessions with global leaders who are shaping the future of international cyber policy. These sessions are designed to advance critical discussions on topics such as cyber resilience, digital trust, artificial intelligence, and protecting shared infrastructure, while strengthening cross-border collaboration and highlighting the innovation and expertise Canadian companies bring to the global cybersecurity ecosystem.
“Given today’s global geopolitical climate and the rapidly shifting trade relationship, I am honoured to have been asked to participate in this mission,” Robert said. “Throughout my career, I’ve been proud to be known as unapologetically Canadian while also building meaningful relationships and partnerships in the United States. With White Tuque proudly calling Chicago our home south of the border, this mission provides an opportunity to further advocate for and defend the importance of cross-border collaboration between our two countries, while showcasing Canadian innovation and talent to the world.”
The delegation will also take part in the 16th Annual Billington CyberSecurity Summit, one of the largest gatherings of its kind in the United States, but it is the broader program that makes this mission unique. By pairing Billington’s global stage with targeted Embassy-led engagements, the mission ensures that Canadian voices are present in the rooms where strategy, policy, and procurement decisions are being made. Over the course of the week, Rob will join sessions at the Australian Embassy, Maryland Innovation Center, CyberConnect: Canada–U.S. Cyber Collaboration, and CyberBridge 2025, alongside leaders from U.S. agencies such as DHS CISA, the Department of Defense, and the State Department. These discussions will focus on priorities such as zero-trust adoption, AI, market access strategies, and collaborative approaches to safeguarding national security interests across North America—connecting Canadian innovators directly with U.S. government leaders, defense contractors, and international partners.
We look forward to sharing updates throughout the week as these important conversations unfold. From the Embassy’s exclusive receptions to collaborative sessions with industry and government leaders, this mission will highlight not only White Tuque’s role, but also Canada’s growing leadership in advancing cybersecurity worldwide. If you’ll be in Washington, D.C. the week of September 8–12, 2025, we welcome the chance to connect.
